Relax on the sunny deck or stroll to the beach along the quiet country road.
The upper floor features an open plan kitchen, dining area and living room with a wood-burning fireplace, main bedroom with King bed, second bedroom with Queen bed and a full bathroom with bathtub and shower. The downstairs level has a spacious family room with an electric fireplace, King bedroom, large laundry room, bathroom with shower, office, and access to the garage.
Vancouver Island is full of interesting ways to spend the day. Enjoy the most beautiful scenery you will find anywhere. When you are ready to have some fun you can kayak, boat or mountain bike. Don’t forget your fishing rod! In the Cowichan Valley you can fish the rivers, lakes and ocean for everything from steelhead to lake trout, salmon to prawns. Golf or play tennis at nearby Arbutus Ridge. Tour the many wineries that surround the area. Hike endless trails through old-growth forests. Take a scenic ferry ride to world famous Butchart Gardens or go whale watching from Victoria’s Inner Harbour or nearby Cowichan Bay. Catch the Tofino bus for a look at the wild west coast. Take a Gulf Island ferry to visit nearby Salt Spring and the other Gulf Islands. From the ocean to the rivers to the Galloping Goose bike trail, recreational areas abound. Approximately 35 minutes drive to Victoria and Nanaimo.
The house is a short distance from many local schools and offers the perfect base for families with children attending nearby Brentwood College School, Shawnigan Lake School, Queen Margaret’s School, etc.
With two driveways and a large backyard, there is plenty of room to park an RV or Boat.
